Mary Eisenhart

 

     

Mary Eisenhart owns and operates Mary Eisenhart Editorial Services in Oakland, creating and refining content for clients in print and online media.

A lifelong animal lover who currently shares her home with dogs Rex and Callie, she writes a weekly pets column for the KOIT.com, KDFC.com, and 957MaxFM.com Web sites. An equally lifelong music lover, she serves as copy editor of the independent music, art and culture site Neumu, to which she also has contributed numerous reviews.

She has also written other pieces for Alameda Magazine, Oakland Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle and The BARK.

For 14 years she was editor of MicroTimes, California's Computer Magazine. She has contributed articles on business and technology to publications including Knowledge Management and M-Business.

Her work has also appeared in publications including Salon, BAM, The Golden Road, Whole Earth Review, Wired, AutoCAD World, and the Macintosh Reader anthology. Two of her articles appear  in the Grateful Dead Reader from Oxford University Press.
