Mary Eisenhart owns and operates Mary Eisenhart Editorial Services in Oakland, offering business and publishing clients a full range of writing and editing enhancements for their print and online materials. She is a member of the Alameda Chamber of Commerce.
A lifelong animal lover who currently shares her home with dogs Rex and Callie, she writes a weekly pets column for the KOIT.com, KDFC.com, and KZBR.com Web sites. An equally lifelong music lover, she serves as copy editor of the independent music, art and culture site Neumu, to which she also contributes numerous reviews.
For 14 years she was editor of MicroTimes, California's Computer Magazine. She has contributed articles on business and technology to publications including Knowledge Management and M-Business.
Her work has also appeared in publications including Salon, BAM, The Golden Road, Whole Earth Review, Wired, AutoCAD World, and the Macintosh Reader anthology. Two of her articles appear in the Grateful Dead Reader from Oxford University Press.
