Mary Eisenhart
Oakland-based editor and writer Mary Eisenhart provides clients with content-related services in print and Internet media. In addition, she's an online community veteran and currently serves as forum moderator on Dead.net, the official Web site of the Grateful Dead. A lifelong animal lover who currently shares her home with dogs Rex and Callie, she writes about pet-related issues for KGO Radio's Web site. She writes about an eclectic range of other subjects for publications including the San Francisco Chronicle, Alameda Magazine, Oakland Magazine, and The BARK. For 14 years she was editor of MicroTimes, California's Computer Magazine. She has contributed articles on business and technology to publications including Knowledge Management and M-Business. Her work has also appeared in publications including Salon, BAM, The Golden Road, Whole Earth Review, Wired, AutoCAD World, and the Macintosh Reader anthology. Two of her articles appear in the Grateful Dead Reader from Oxford University Press. |
