Zag The Transformer Might Be You

By Anne Herbert

There's a messiah for every moment. That's an idea in Arthur Cohen's book In the Days of Simon Stern, and I like it a lot.

That in every moment there is someone present who could transform it from blah or awful to something wonderful or something that, relatively speaking, is lots better than you might expect under the circumstances.

Life offers many zigs, in each and every day, and it's really easy to twitch in some way we've been trained to twitch and think there is only one way to zag in response.

There are 360 degrees in a circle and nobody know how many degrees there are in a sphere.

At any moment, there a lot of ways to zag in response to the zigs life offers. And when you respond from the place where your tenderness meets your wild and crazy imagination, Zag the Transformer might be you.
